How Are POs Managed in Worksome?

Effective management of purchase orders (POs) is crucial when working with contracts and invoices, especially on platforms like Worksome. Below is an overview of how POs are managed in Worksome and how they integrate with the system’s invoicing features.

You can add or change the Purchase Order (PO) number for a contract directly from the Hires section in Worksome. This helps ensure proper financial tracking and billing alignment for your organization.

In Worksome, you can add or change the Purchase Order (PO) number linked to a contract directly from the Hires section. There are two simple methods to do this, depending on whether you want to view the full hire profile or jump straight to managing the contract.

Option 1: Add or Update PO from the Hires List

  • Go to the Hires page

  • Click the three dots next to the hire you'd like to update

  • Select “Manage Contract.”

  • In the contract settings window, enter or update the PO number

  • Click Save changes

You can also make other contract updates from this window if needed.

Option 2: Add or Update PO from the Hire Profile

  • Click on the hire’s name to open their profile.

Here, you are also able to make changes to the contract details if needed. Additionally, any updated POs will be accessible to team members responsible for managing invoices within the system, ensuring a smooth workflow.

  • Scroll to the Contract section and click “Manage Contract.”

  • Enter or update the PO number, then click Save changes.

This view gives you access to full contract details, just like in Option 1.
