What is the Early Termination Feature?
The Early Termination feature allows Hiring Managers to adjust contract end dates by terminating contracts before their originally agreed end date. This feature ensures the platform reflects the real status of work engagements, providing clarity for all parties involved.
Why terminate a contract early?
Contracts may require adjustments due to various reasons, such as early project completion or unforeseen circumstances. The Early Termination feature enables Hiring Managers to:
Terminate contracts for specific reasons without needing acceptance from the Worker.
Select from a list of predefined reasons or provide a custom reason for termination.
Feature Overview
Who Can Use This Feature?

What Does This Feature Do?
Allows Hiring Managers to specify a new end date and termination reason.
Updates the contract details and generates an updated Booking contract to reflect the changes.
Sends notifications to both the Worker and the Hiring Manager.
Alerts Worksome’s internal team for review when Worksome is the Contracting Party.

Special Considerations
1. When Worksome is the Contracting Party (Employer/Agent of Record):
The proposed end date is reviewed to ensure compliance with local laws and contract terms.
Adjustments may be made to align with notice periods or legal requirements.
Both you and the worker will be notified if the end date is modified.
2. When Worksome is NOT the Contracting Party:
The termination details are recorded, but no further action is taken by Worksome.
