  1. Once your bid is accepted by your client, Worksome automatically generates a contract that serves as a contractual basis for the agreement between you and your client on Worksome. Read and accept this contract by clicking accept job in your conversation with your client.

  2. To get paid you have to create your first payment request in Worksome. You can create a payment request directly from you Home page, the Bills page or from within the respective conversation page. You will enter the total billable time in the payment request. If you are registered for sales tax, we will calculate the amount and add it to the total - read more here.

  3. The client will be notified when you submit your payment request, and they will be required to review and approve it. At the point of approval, your client will also have the option to give you a 1-5 star rating for your work. Great ratings strengthen your profile and increase your chance of getting hired for new jobs.

  4. On the back of an approved payment request, Worksome will automatically create an invoice on your behalf. You can use this for your own bookkeeping.

  5. At the same time, your client is invoiced by Worksome and payment terms are subject to the specific agreement made.

  6. As soon as Worksome receives payment for your payment request, you will receive the funds to your bank account. We will notify you of this via email. It usually takes between 1-3 working days for the payment to reach your account (dependent on where your bank account is located). If you need help or have any concerns, chat to us!
