How to get paid for your placements

A guide to billing and getting paid your margin for placements managed by companies using Worksome

For staffing agencies, Worksome means simplified (and hopefully faster!) payments for you and your candidates.

Once placed, your external workers will agree a billing frequency with the client (most operate on weekly or monthly billing cycles).

When an external worker under your ownership submits a payment request in Worksome for the time worked, an invoice will automatically be generated on approval of the request. Worksome will process payment to you based on your payment terms.

Do I need to invoice my client or Worksome?

No. Worksome is self-billing, meaning the platform will track your margin for you. When an external worker is paid based on receipt of payment from the client, Worksome will also process a payout to your consultancy's bank account. You will be notified by email when your payment has been processed. Note: the worker's payment terms may differ to yours.

How do I keep track of margin payments?

You can view all payments due to you under the Payment Request page:

Here you will be able to view a breakdown of every payment request your workers have submitted, track your ownership, and view a breakdown of your earnings.

Where can I find a summary of what my consultancy has been paid so far?

To view your earnings under the Transactions page:

We use the bank details from your consultancy profile to make payments; please ensure they are up to date at all times. They can be updated by selecting your account on the bottom left hand corner: Staffing agency settings > Bank. Note: only the "Account Owner" can edit the bank details. We do this for added security.
