On this page you can see a table with the header row comprising of the following columns: Date, Ref. #., Status, Client, Job title, Invoice and Amount. It also show one button right above the header row on the left side called 'Filter', where users can filter their payment requests. Further, there is another button entitled 'Request Payment' through which freelancers can create a new payment. On each payment request row, the independent contractors/freelancers/users can press on the three dots on the left side which will prompt them to two options: Edit or Delete the payment request.

Editing A Payment Request

To Edit a Payment Request, you will have to follow two (very easy 😄) steps:

  1. Make Your Changes

You can adjust details such as the following:

    • Timeframe

    • Number of days

    • PO Numbers

    • Expense reports

  2. Save Your Changes

After making the necessary changes, double-check the total amount of the payment request and click Save Payment Request.

The Save Payment Request button at the end of the Payment Request page.

Removing A Payment Request

Similar to Editing, Removing a Payment Request requires two steps:

  1. Press:

    • 'Delete' if you are in Payments Request Dashboard

    • 'Remove Payment Request' if you are in Conversation

  2. Confirm Removal

You’ll be asked to confirm that you want to cancel the payment request. Be aware that once a request is deleted, it cannot be restored.

Pop-up that shows up once you press on the 'Delete' button for payment request. The text 'Do you want to delete the request' will be shown to the user. There are two buttons: cancel or Delete. Note that once a request is deleted, it cannot be restored.

The payment request will be removed from both your conversation and the client’s view, ensuring that the client no longer sees the deleted request.

Creating a New Payment Request

If you've removed a payment request and need to create a new one, simply click on Create Payment Request from the job conversation page and follow the standard process for submitting it.
